What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

2-Step Verification also known as the Two-factor authentication (2FA), adds a second layer of protection and verification before a site lets you log in. This is often accomplished by using a third-party app (in our case Google Authenticator) on your mobile devices to display a code which has to be entered on the login page before you are given access to your account.

Two-factor authenticator apps on your device works even if the device is not connected to the internet. Using your e-mail address and password along with a code sent to your device adds a higher level of difficulty for intruders or hackers to gain access to your account.
